Today I´m happy to be a guest over at Make it Colourful. The challenge this week is to colour the same image twice, the good & the dark side ;)
Here´s my cards.
The good girl first using Alyssa Elven.
And the dark side of Alyssa.
For the good girl:
Skirt and wings: W1, W2, W3, W7 + some black spots.
Green: YG11; G21, G28, G29 + touches of black ( I really don´t like this color combo´cause I find it so difficult to blend, I don´t know why I keep using it!!!!).
For the bad girl:
Skirt: R22, R27, R59 + black
Wings and top: BG000, C0, C1, C3, C5, C7 + black
Hair: BG000, BG72, C7 + touches of black.

Hi Sara!! Gorgeous cards, both of them! Love your coloring, and even tho you find the greens harder to blend, the outcome is superb!! I love how your ligth coloring makes Alyssa looks so good an innocent and how dark Alyssa looks a lot more dangerous!! The coloring really makes the biggest of changing to a stamp!! Oh wow! What a contrast between the two cards using the same image. I love the concept of 'the good side and the dark side' Both cards are so different. The top one is so pretty with the delicate rose and paler colours, and the bottom one is BEAUTIFUL with the layout against the die cut wings and fab metal corners.

Your shading on these is out of this world! I'm sure I'll be back studying these cause creases and folds are my downfall. Beautiful job Sara!
You've captured the essence of this challenge just perfectly. Love the differences in the images but your style still shows through. Of course I'm insanely jealous of your coloring skills and I'm sick of sound like a broken records, but your coloring rocks!
